Today we thought we'd give a plug for a very handy little app that shows exactly where the sun will rise and set in your exact location at any time of the year.

Furthermore, when you look through the camera of your smartphone, you can see where the sun will be in relation to your property and the local neigbourhood.

This means as well as working out the best place to have a barbeque or to put the spa/swimming pool, you can also identify shade from neighboring trees, buildings etc. and how they can affect your property at any time of the year.

Very handy to use at open homes if you're thinking about purchasing a property.

The app is called "Sun Seeker - Tracker & Compass" and is available in the App Store and Google Play.
