DO SCHOOL HOLIDAYS AFFECT REAL ESTATE?

How did that happen?  Term 1 is over already!

To those of us with school age children it often feels like there are more school holidays than "at school" days!

As far as real estate is concerned, we DO see school holidays affecting the industry.  Many vendors like to delay the marketing of their property so that it is available during non-holiday periods.  As well as school holidays, vendors typically also want to avoid other public holidays.   

As we've just returned to work from the Easter break and we are about to enter the first "end of term" holidays, one can expect the next "wave" of new properties to hit the market in the week commencing 6th of May.
