LEST WE FORGET

Good morning,

This morning, the Grey Lynn RSC will host its annual ANZAC memorial service.

Uniformed representatives from our Army, Navy and Airforce will march from Castle Street to stand to attention outside the RSC in Francis St during the official part of the ceremony.   Other community representatives will also be in attendance to lay wreaths and pay respects including a number of children from our local schools.

Each year the number of people coming along seems to grow and it is heartwarming to see a good number of young people turning up as well.

A moving occasion of gratitude and respect from a diverse and appreciative community.

8am Club Opens - (Bar shuts during service)

9am March - Assemble corner of Richmond Road & Castle Street

9.30am - March Steps Off

9.45am SERVICE commences outside clubrooms

10.30am approx. - Everyone invited into the RSC for refreshments
